If you hire NRJ to install the same project, your DIY plan fee will be credited toward the installation work. Already started? I’ll inspect what’s been done and quote any needed corrections separately before finishing the job.
Installation is quoted at current pricing based on the project’s condition. Removing or correcting work already done, plus any replacement materials, is priced separately and approved before work begins. The DIY fee credit applies toward installation work, not corrections or replacement materials.
Free estimates are for projects NRJ would install. The DIY plan is a separate paid service for doing the work yourself.

About Me
Hi, I’m Noah Juarez, the owner of NRJ Insulation and a proud North Carolina business owner.
Family is at the center of my life. I enjoy spending time with my wife, our daughter, and our two Yorkies. They inspire me to work hard, continue growing, and build a strong future for our family.
Outside of work, my interests reflect my curiosity and desire to keep learning. I enjoy strength training, studying nutrition, working on cars and trucks, and taking on DIY home improvement projects. I also enjoy studying Mandarin, exploring different cultures, traveling, and learning about history and Christianity.
I also enjoy following a wide variety of sports and competitions, including basketball, football, soccer, UFC, tennis, ping-pong, volleyball, billiards, track and field, poker tournaments, NASCAR, and the Olympics.

How much insulation does my attic need?
A typical code-level attic target is R-38. With the blown-in product we install, R-38 is approximately 13 inches. We can add more insulation for a higher R-value if desired.
Do you remove old insulation?
Yes. We remove old or damaged insulation and prepare the area before replacement when removal is included in the project scope.
Do you install crawlspace vapor barriers?
Yes. We install crawlspace insulation and both 6-mil and 20-mil vapor barriers.
How long does installation take?
Most installations are typically completed in one day. Larger projects, removals or more involved work may require additional time.
